Bucio was at the head of Sipinna for five years, a decentralized body of Segob that gained notoriety in recent weeks due to President Andrés Manuel López Obrador's warnings to eliminate this type of organization because, in his opinion, they unnecessarily swell the government administrative apparatus.
Bucio's departure, it was said then, was “by mutual agreement” with the head of Segob, Olga Sánchez Cordero, and meant for the former public servant today the end point of a transexennial career that allowed him to serve in the governments of Felipe Calderón. , Enrique Peña Nieto and Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

What do the experts think?
Antonio Ocaranza, director of OCA Reputation and specialist in corporate reputation issues, considered that the work carried out by Cemefi and in particular Jorge Villalobos has been key to raising awareness of the importance of companies participating in the improvement of society.
“The renewal of the Presidency is an opportunity to analyze what has been achieved and establish new goals. I see two important tasks, on the one hand, to further activate the dialogue between companies and society and set the course for the most important causes in which companies can get involved and, on the other, to take the ESR Distinction to a new level. of commitment,” he added.
In both aspects, he considered, Cemefi can be a more proactive institution, not only receiving and analyzing what companies do, but also building a social agenda that invites companies to join.
Regarding Ricardo Bucio, he considered that he is a professional and conciliatory person. “This is someone recognized by companies and organizations linked to Cemefi; a public figure capable of speaking with political actors, in government and Congress, who are fundamental to advancing social causes. This experience will help many companies navigate the waters of change we are experiencing in terms of social responsibility,” he concluded.
Marcela Cristo, general director of Impacto+ Consultoría Sostenible and with extensive experience in the corporate social responsibility niche, recognized the great work done by Cemefi and considered that the replacement means “a great decision at a good time, (because) it is urgent that Cemefi "it adapts to the new times."
Inés Guardia, director of GCBconsultores, agreed that Cemefi has been an articulator of social responsibility for more than 30 years in the region and asked to recognize the path taken.
